Gentle Hands. Calmer Nervous System.
What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a very gentle, hands-on approach. Ellie uses a touch about the weight of a nickel to ease tension through the head, neck, spine and pelvis. The goal is to help your body shift out of "go mode" and into rest, where it does its best repair work.
Ellie is certified in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute.
People often get CranioSacral Therapy (CST) for the following
Stress and tension that live in the shoulders, jaw, neck or face
Headaches and migraines
Neck pain
Low back pain
Trouble winding down or sleeping well
Feelings of anxiety or low mood
Feeling stuck after a hard season, illness or injury
What a session feels like
You lie fully clothed on the table under a warm blanket. Ellie's hands rest lightly and help release areas of tension through the head, neck, spine and sacrum. Most people describe it as deeply calming; some feel warmth or a gentle release. There's no cracking, popping or deep pressure. The traction table is available as an add-on if you'd like gentle decompression too.
